Only a few people know this story, but it’s time to be told. A few years ago, Mark and I were hanging a Binky and Bell gallery exhibit at the Holly Springs Cultural Center. I remember it well because it was our “Welcome Home” exhibit based on my dog Cali and how she is always at the window of our house to see who’s there.
So as we are hanging and adjusting pictures, a seniors group lets out of one of the classrooms and a group of them start checking out our artwork…
One of the ladies says, “Oh this is wonderful!”
Mark and I started beaming with pleasure. It’s nice being recognized for doing something special…especially when it comes to art.
The lady finished her thought…”Which elementary did these pictures?”
